The bike is built around a tubular diamond frame and it gets its braking power from a standard 276mm disc brake at the front and a 220mm disc at the back – in the top-spec variant, that is. On the handling front, the Hero Xtreme 160R new model rides on a 37mm telescopic forks suspension setup at the front and a 7-step adjustable monoshock at the back. The Hero Xtreme 160R mileage, which is expected to be around 45km/l, combined with a 12-litre fuel tank, is ample for long rides. It comes paired to a 5-speed manual transmission as standard. Moreover, it has a ground clearance of 167mm and a kerb weight of 138.5kg.Īt the heart of the Hero Xtreme 160R lies a BS-VI compliant 163cc air-cooled fuel-injected engine, which is good for 15bhp and 14Nm of torque. In case of its dimensions, the 160R measures 2,029mm in length, 793mm in width, and 1,052mm in height. It has an aggressive streetfighter stance, which makes it look edgy and sporty to the eyes. In all honesty, it looks and feels more sophisticated than its elder sibling. While it does share its moniker with the larger capacity, Xtreme 200R, the 160R is an all-new motorcycle.
